Position Summary: The Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics seeks applicants for postdoctoral research associate positions in the laboratory of Dr. Joshua Shaevitz. Dr. Shaevitz's lab investigates the biophysical mechanisms underlying cell shape, mechanics and motility in bacteria. We use a combination of cell- biological and state-of-the-art biophysical techniques to probe these questions at both the molecular and cellular levels. Applications should include a curriculum vitae that includes a list of publications and a brief statement (3 pages) of research interests and goals. On the application form, please give three references that you have asked to send letters of recommendation. Reference letters should be sent to the address below.
