Job Summary
The Computational Chemistry & Cheminformatics group at Wyeth Research in Pearl River, NY has an opening for a post-doctoral researcher. The post-doctoral research project will involve the development of algorithms and tools to aid in the analysis of kinase structures at the genome-wide level, including the use of physics-based modeling techniques such as molecular dynamics simulations and physics-based scoring of protein structures and protein-ligand complexes.
Job Requirements
# PhD. in computational chemistry, biophysics, physics or bioinformatics
# Excellent programming skills (C, C++) and scripting ability (Python, Perl)
# Knowledge of database development (Oracle) a plus
# Excellent communication skills
# Ability to work independently and collaborate with others
