KSR is currently seeking a Senior Pharmacologist to work for our client's R&D department in Tempe, AZ. This is a great opportunity to work in a professional, goal-driven, team-oriented environment. This position is a Direct Hire opportunity. Salary range will be $95-115K/yr. DOE with 5% bonus potential. Our client will provide a relocation package.
Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Plan, design and oversee nonclinical pharmacology studies for investigational new drugs using in vitro and in vivo models of health and disease
Plan, design and oversee in vitro and in vivo pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism studies
Evaluate new drug entities to supplement existing drug pipeline
Evaluate test agents in representative in vivo models
Analyze pharmacology and PK data and prepare nonclinical studies reports and integrated summary documents

Our client requires the following experience, skills, and qualifications:
Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology or pharmacokinetics
Minimum 5-8 years of post doctoral pharmaceutical experience preferably within the biotech industry
Demonstrated hands-on experience working with animal models
Working knowledge in pharmacology, pharmacokinetics and bioanalytical chemistry techniques
Extensive knowledge of data analysis, statistics and report generation
Strong interpersonal skills including excellent verbal and written communications skills, time management, decision-making, presentation, and human relations skills; high attention to detail and the ability to follow through; well organized
Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently and adapt to rapidly changing situations
Ability to conduct statistical analysis using PC-based software
This position involves standing and sitting most of the time; frequently involves reaching, lifting, and bending.
