Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage benchwork to support gene expression profiling
* Assist in the implementation of bioinformatics methods for analyses of complex data sets
* Provide toxicological context of genomics (proteomics/metabonomics) data outputs
* Work with project managers to develop strategies for molecular toxicology testing
* Remain current on guidances in Pharmaco-/Toxicogenomics
* Remain current on molecular profiling methods for pan-proteome/metabolome analyses
* Collaborate and harmonize with counterparts in Discovery and in the Toxicogenomics group at BI-Germany
* Participate in external consortia in the area of Toxicogenomics
* Manage collaborations to advance area of Molecular Toxicology
Requirements:
* Ph.D. or post-doctoral experience in Toxicology and Molecular Biology is required
* Demonstrated experience with genomics application in toxicology
* Management experience is necessaryDABT Certification is preferred
* Affymetrix expression profiling; TaqMan methodology and Bioinformatics experience are special requirements for this position
