Position Summary: The Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics seeks applicants for research staff positions to join any of several interdisciplinary research groups. Subjects include the architecture and dynamics of transcriptional regulatory networks, using technologies such as DNA microarrays to make genome-wide observations of cellular states in bacteria, yeast and animal cells. Computational and mathematical approaches are then employed to analyze such data in order to model the genetic circuitry of these organisms. Rank and salary dependent upon qualifications. Essential Qualifications: Applicants with a Ph.D. or equivalent should have training and a significant track record in one of the following areas: 1. genomics 2. bacterial/yeast/animal cell molecular biology and genetics. 3. experimental chemistry or theoretical physics. 4. computational biology/biophysics. 5. computer science (theory, machine learning, statistics). 6. population genetics, molecular evolution.
