Post Doctoral Fellow - Virology

Seeking a Post Doctoral Fellow for an NIH funded study seeking to define sequence diversity and to develop new PCR, bead, and chip based multiplex assays for human polyomaviruses. These assays will be used to quantify viral loads in human tissue, define the existence of quasispecies, and explore phylogenetic relationships between different viral strains.

Minimum qualifications:
~ Ph.D. or M.D.
~ Requires a working knowledge of high throughput DNA sequencing, gene chip, and luminex bead technology
~ Knowledge software used for automated base calling, sequence assembly, and phylogenetic analysis.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications!
