Organic Chemistry Technician

Purpose:
Our client is a global specialty chemicals company recognized for its strong technology positions in Performance Materials, Applications Chemistry and the Organics and Services clusters.
- Our Client is looking for a laboratory technician with strong organic chemistry skills such as synthesis and characterization.
- Will have to interpret scientific results, make suggestions, to conduct basic literature searches and write technical reports.
- Must be able to develop and use various laboratory analytical methods such as NMR, HPLC, GC-MS, SEC.
- Basic knowledge in process engineering is a plus, as well as a background in polymer chemistry.
- BS or BA in organic chemistry plus 3 years minimum of experience is required.
You will be summarizing and presenting data after which, you will then be giving feedback to the Sr. Chemist. This is a fast paced, lab based position.
