Description
Responsibilities: Qualified candidates should possess broad analytical chemistry knowledge and strong technical strengths in HPLC, GC, MS, FTIR, UV, and other related technologies. The selected candidate is required to deliver project support tasks in a timely manner using hands-on analytical method development and validation in labs. It is highly expected that the candidate can collaborate with other departments, communicate with project teams, and write documents to include IND/NDA regulatory submissions, reports, protocols, and standard operation procedures, etc. This Scientist will provide analytical method development and validation for release tests (assay, purity, residual solvents, moisture, dissolution, etc.) and analytical support in chemical processes for API as well as prototype formulations and finished drug products. Characterization of reference standard and impurity standard materials will be expected. Requirements
Candidates must possess good interpersonal skills to include flexibility dealing with challenges (capability of quickly learning new technologies and problem solving) as well as supervisor/leadership experience (very valuable for this position). Able to follow cGMP guidelines, company standard operating procedures, and analytical methods. Candidates must be able to communicate with project teams and other departments as well as write IND and NDA submission documents, reports, protocols, analytical methods, and standard operation procedures. You must also be able to assess and introduce new technologies to enhance analytical strength and contribute to cross-department collaboration projects. The position requires a Ph.D. or an M.S. in Analytical Chemistry or related field. You may have an M.S. degree with 8 or more years of pharmaceutical analysis experience or a PhD with 2-5 years of experience. You must possess strong technical strengths in pharmaceutical analysis, communication, problem solving, and leadership/supervisor skills.
