Interface with laboratory customers and write technical documents. Perform chemical synthesis of organic compounds, organometalic compounds, monomers and polymers. Characterize the compounds and polymers synthesized using various forms of instrumental analysis. Assist in the preparation of technical proposals. Prepare reports, memoranda and journal articles to communicate results. Provide support for chemically related tasks, on site and in the field as necessary to support laboratory programs.

Requirements
Required:

Ph. D. degree in Chemistry or equivalent in a related field with 0-2 years of relevant experience in a synthetic chemistry laboratory. Applicants must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have the desire and ability to work in a team problem solving environment. Must have some experience in the operation and use of modern analytical instrumentation such as GC/MS, NMR, FTIR and HPLC. Need to be flexible and able to work on several projects simultaneously.

Desired:

Experience in preparation of molecularly imprinted materials is desired.
